Located in the beautiful Bluegrass region of central Kentucky, Hilltop Aviary specializes in raising eight species of the Amazona parrot family. You'll find pictures of these eight species throughout this website. We take pride in our well socialized babies and in ensuring they are placed only in deserving homes.

In 2010, under permit from the United States Department of the Interior - US Fish & Wildlife Service, we will begin working with endangered avian species including the Vinaceous Amazon. After twenty-five years of enjoying our birds, we are proud and excited at the opportunity to give back to the parrot world by helping this endangered species.
