In 1987, at the age of 16, our owner purchased his first pair of birds. Since that time, our parrot passion grew into an aviary operation that included numerous parrot species. In 2009, we decided to focus all of our energy and experience toward the Amazon parrot family. Today, it is our intent to work with endangered or threatened species and have geared our operation toward that goal.

Baby parrots from our endangered species are obviously not offered for sale to the general public. But, we place baby parrots of any species only into qualified homes. Toward that end, we spend a great deal of time with potential clients to ensure that the decision to add a parrot to their family is the right choice.

Sharing life with a parrot is a decision that demands planning. The daily needs of a parrot are not overwhelming but they are different from the needs of most other domesticated animals like cats or dogs. We consider it our responsibility to provide the education of proper avian care to anyone considering bringing a parrot into their family. We expect that our babies will be treated as family members and we work hard ensuring that the right family is chosen for them.
